The day coincided with Boulder&#8217;s annual celebration of Auguste Escoffier Day as well as the first graduating class of the school&#8217;s online program. The day began with a welcome from campus president, Chef Kirk T Bachmann, followed by a video address by Michel Escoffier, president of the Auguste Escoffier Foundation and Museum and great grandson of Auguste Escoffier.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/t64GHsKtN9E?rel=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The ceremony&#8217;s commencement speaker this session was executive chef Ashlea Tobeck, a graduate of the school&#8217;s pastry arts program and longtime instructor.\u00a0 In addition to a commencement speech given by farm-to-table partner Candace Orlando, the ceremony also featured three student speakers: culinary arts graduate, Cody Sauer; pastry arts graduate, Kodi Harpe; as well as Boulder Online graduate, John Scott Brooker.
