In 1998, she opened and managed &#8220;Laslow&#8217;s Broadway Bistro,&#8221; &#8220;Laslow&#8217;s Northwest&#8221; and &#8220;Malanga Cocina Cubana&#8221; which quickly became established as benchmark eateries in Portland, Oregon.\u00a0 &#8220;Laslow&#8217;s Northwest&#8221; was named one of &#8220;America&#8217;s Best Restaurants&#8221; by GOURMET magazine and Connie traveled to Manhattan to represent Laslow&#8217;s at the James Beard House. Connie moved to Colorado in 2005 where she developed the unique concept of \u201cTUTTI, a restaurant for everyone\u201d in Lafayette.
