Plus, find out the benefits of culinary school beyond what happens in the classroom.<\/p>\n<h2>Can You Become a Chef Without Culinary School?<\/h2>\n<p>In short? Yes. You can become a successful chef without going to culinary school.<\/p>\n<p>There is no special degree or certification that makes someone a chef. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escoffier.edu\/blog\/culinary-pastry-careers\/why-a-culinary-degree-doesnt-automatically-make-you-a-chef\/\">title is earned<\/a> through hard work and experience. Gordon Ramsay and award-winning chef Heston Blumenthal, for example, didn\u2019t attend culinary school.
