Contestants will have the ability to compete for 8 scholarships totaling $14,000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship Competition Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*This contest is open to all 2020 high school graduates who are interested in attending Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Austin or Boulder <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>(residential programs only)<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarships will be distributed as follows<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><em>Austin Residential:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$2,500 (two winners will be selected)<\/li>\n<li>$1,000 (two winners will be selected)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Boulder Residential:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$2,500 (two winners will be selected)<\/li>\n<li>$1,000 (two winners will be selected)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Austin Residential: Must be a 2020 high school graduate enrolled in one of our Fall 2020 starts.<\/li>\n<li>Boulder Residential: Must be a 2020 high school graduate enrolled in one of our Fall 2020 starts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Scholarship Submission Content \/ Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 2020 Escoffier \u201cPlate It Up\u201d TikTok Scholarship Challenge requires participants to create an original TikTok video starring themselves and a dish of their choice.\u00a0 The video needs to show the participant making the dish from start to finish. Video commentary, editing, producing and visuals are solely up to the participant- Be Original! Video must not exceed the 1 minute time limit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To enter, participants will need to save their TikTok video and upload through our submission form. Please <a href=\"https:\/\/triumpheducation.formstack.com\/forms\/escoffier_tiktok_scholarship_challenge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fill out this submission form and submit<\/a>; one submission per student.<\/li>\n<li>By submitting their video, each contestant agrees to the competition rules and concurs to be bound by the final decisions of the judges.<\/li>\n<li>Deadline for entry is <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Monday, June 29, 2020<\/span>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Video Judging:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A committee, including persons within both the Austin and Boulder high school Admissions Team, will evaluate qualifying entries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship Winners:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All scholarship winners will be announced by <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Wednesday, July, 1 2020<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scholarship winners will be notified by telephone. If the contestant is not available by telephone, Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts will attempt to reach him or her by email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rights in Submissions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By entering a video for the 2020 Escoffier \u201cPlate It Up\u201d Tiktok Scholarship Challenge each entrant hereby grants to Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts or its designee a license to use or publish without any further right of approval by or compensation to the entrant.
